English National Ballet
Yat-Sen Chang studied dance at the Cuba National Ballet School, beginning his studies at the age of nine. In 1989 he graduated as a dancer and teacher and joined the National Ballet of Cuba under Alicia Alonso.

In 1992 he was invited to the International Dance Festival of La Baule and joined Jeune Ballet de France, in the same year and performed in many different countries around the world.

Yat-Sen has won many prestigious awards including:
"The Best Partner at Varna International Ballet Competition" (1990)
"Reached the finals of the Contemporary Dance Competition in Paris" (1993)
"Leonida Massine Award" in Positano for "Best Classical Dancer" (1999)


Yat-Sen Chang joined English National Ballet as a principal dancer in
September 1993. His roles with the Company include in The Sleeping Beauty (Bluebird, Carabosse). Derek Deane's & Ben Stevenson The Nutcracker (Prince & Gopak). He has danced roles in Paquita (Act III) and Dances From Napoli, Franz in Hynd's Coppelia and Romeo & Mercutio in Nureyev's production of Romeo and Juliet. In 1994 he created a role in Mauro Bigonzetti's X.N.Tricities. In Alice in Wonderland Yat-Sen has created the role of the White Rabbit.

TELEVISION
"Appeared as the lead dancer in Granada Television's "Men In Tights"

CHOREOGRAPHY
Yat-Sen has choreographed " Para Dos", "Maybe It Was Love?",
"Dolphins", "El Dorado Solo", "ENB Reloaded"
and has appear in several new workshops by other new talent choreographers.
